  • Evaporation Air Conditioning
  • Ducted Cooling Air Conditioning
  • Ducted Heating/Cooling
  • Multi Head/Multi Split Air Conditioning (Panasonic Multi Head Split System Air Conditioners )
  • Cassette Air Conditioners

Split System Air Conditioning

Split System / Multi Head / Multi Split Systems are the most popular Air Conditioning Systems installed in most homes and offer great ranges in sizes to suit anyone’s particular needs. The benefit of a Split A.C. is the wall-mounted aspect, giving you the flexibility to have it positioned almost anywhere you desire within your home.

Split Systems are a unit that comes with one indoor unit, and one outdoor unit, thus giving the name ‘Split System’. This gives you the option of which part of your home you would like to warm up or cool down. Most Split systems these days have the ability to produce, cold and warm air, this would benefit you in the colder parts of the year as well.

Multi Head/Multi Split units are the same as a normal split in every way but one. With this unit, you have the option to have 3-4 Heads (Indoor units). This Option of heating and cooling a home or office is best suited to someone who wants to have more than just one main room with cooling.

Maintenance for these systems is rather basic on your part, they have Filters in the Indoor unit and all it takes is for you to take them out once a month and clean them. A Panasonic Multi Head Split System Air Conditioner is the best choice for your home.

Ducted Cooling Air Conditioning

Ducted Cooling Air conditioning systems are much bigger in size compared to a Split A.C., these systems are perfect for cooling down an entire house with ease. The Ducted A.C. has two units, one which is placed outside, and the other is either installed in your roof or under your house. These are much bigger units than Split A.C

Thermostats are installed along with a Ducted system in a spot you choose, and these control all settings, such as Temperature, Mode (Heating, Cooling, Fan etc.). The Thermostat can also control ‘Zones’.

Zones are an add-on option you can get installed with your Ducted system where it gives you the option to. choose which parts of the house you want to cool down. Most units come with the Common Zone, and then two added Zones (Bedrooms, Studies, etc.). This is a terrific option for someone who would like to have the option there to have full control of the temperature within their home.

With a Ducted system, the indoor part is a duct installed in the ceiling or floor in each room picked by you. This is the only thing to be installed indoors apart from the thermostat. Making this unit a very clean and particularly un-noticeable Air Conditioner.
Evaporation Cooling units are not as big as ducted units, but they work with Ducts, much the same as Ducted A.C., and also work through a thermostat installed with the house.

Cassette Air Conditioners

Cassette Air Conditioning units work along the exact same principles as the Split System and Multi Head/Multi Split. However instead of the indoor unit being installed on the wall inside your house, the unit is installed in the ceiling, this option suits anyone looking for other options instead of wall mounted A.C

Isolator: With every installation we install an Isolator as a legal requirement with the AS 3000:2007 (Clause 4.9.2) we install it next to the outdoor unit and its main purpose is to be able to switch off the power to the outdoor unit for any servicing and maintenance.

Whatever your preference, TasPower in Launceston can fit, install and quote. We can install a unit for you and also have a wide range of Split System Air Conditioners to suit all environments in Launceston and surrounds.
